super bowl 2010 Party at JC Body Shop

I want the other night to the SB, but I want manly just to go I fill that if you are going to really get to the point that the youth fill that they can trust you, you need to be where they can see you and try and show that you are interested in things that they are, so I want to watch the SB, but I was not planning on staying very long I was thinking that I would go and just hang out for a little bit then go back to my room and do some Homework, but about five min before I was going to go I was seating by the gym when a fight broke out in the girls bather room, and just as teens do every one very quickly took sides, so a few of the leaders quickly got most of the teens that where fighting into the gym and separated them so I want in when they where closing the doors to help if needed. nothing really happened with the fight after that they got the girls separated but they really needed some help watching the teens now for there was not a lot of leaders there helping for many had left or just did not come, so I ended up hanging out in the gym for the rest of the night just making shore that nothing happened, nothing really happened that was to big, other then some teens getting up seat, it ended up being good that I stayed for I was able to hang out with some of the teens and start to get to know some of then. So I did not really get done what I had planed that night but I was able to help, and begin to form relationships with teens witch I do not know where it will lead only God dose but it is up to me to be faithful no madder what.

Time: 6:20-10:20

Not a lot spiritual happened that night other then at the end I cleaned the gym and was able to get some really good time to spend talking with God.

PERSONAL reflection

Over the last few weeks I have been helping out at JC Body Shop, it has been good what I manly do is hang out in the gym and play ball or just try to get to know the kids, it has been taking a little bet to get to know the kids very well. I fill that part of the problem is that there are so many people from IWU that work over there that the teens are getting to the point that they just fill that it is one more IWU student, that will be hear for a few weeks then leave, so I fill that I will really have to work hard at trying to break through the wall that they have built up to win there trust.

Spiritual

I fill that I have been able to see through the little bit of time of working there that there is a lot that can be done for the kids for, I can see that even though many of the teens have been going there for a time they still don’t really know who Jesus really is.
